Map

[edit]

A controversy has erupted over the choice of map for this article. The two candidates are shown here, along with any others that other Wikipedians may choose to enter. Feel free to make any comments. The lower map may also appear in the corresponding Geography article for this country. Kelisi 02:52, 2 Apr 2005 (UTC)

How big?

[edit]

I like the comparative size section - Area - comparative: slightly smaller than Pennsylvania. So how large is Pennsylvania then? Don't tell me - slightly larger than Cuba by any chance? Arcturus 18:18, 20 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That comes strait from the CIA factbook. --Qyd 15:24, 12 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

New data

[edit]

Source: Anuario Estadistico de Cuba (Statistical Yearbook of Cuba)(2011) and CIA World Factbook. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.197.182.209 (talk) 01:27, 14 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Incomplete

[edit]

The current geography article says absolutely nothing about Cuba's river system. Where are they? How many? How large are they, which one is the largest? Since there are no glaciers in Cuba, where do the rivers come from and how do they form? 72.199.200.174 (talk) 12:14, 18 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Rivers can form without glacial activity. Tropical places like Cuba get lots of rain; this rain collects and forms rivers. TangoFett (talk) 19:09, 15 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
