Koothattukulam

Koothattukulam is a municipality[1] in the Ernakulam district of Kerala, India. It is located 32 km (19.9 mi) south of the district collectorate in Thrikkakara and about 156 km (96.9 mi) north of the state capital Thiruvananthapuram. As per the 2011 Indian census, Koothattukulam has a population of 17,253 people, and a population density of 755/km2 (1,960/sq mi). The majority of people living in Koothattukulam are Syrian Christians.
