Six day war?[edit]

Where does this connection between Sam the Sham and the Six Day War come from? It seems a tad peculiar. --jpgordon∇∆∇∆ 19:20, 13 Feb 2005 (UTC)

The Six Day War took place in the Middle East. It makes sense some would be scared of being associated of a group who wore Egyptian costumes. Theaterfreak64 03:30, Feb 14, 2005 (UTC)

Yah, but, even if it seems to make sense, is there any actual connection other than temporal? I.e., did Domingo Samuido say "well, the six day war spelled the end of it for us" or something like that? Or is this just speculation? Wooly bully? Wooly bully. --jpgordon∇∆∇∆ 05:29, 14 Feb 2005 (UTC)

(Also, already by 1965 they'd stopped wearing the Egyptian drag.) --jpgordon∇∆∇∆ 05:34, 14 Feb 2005 (UTC)

It's spelled Samudio[edit]

If you don't trust my page (http://www.nostradamus.net/samhome.htm) then check Sam's own page: http://www.samthesham.com/indes.htm

Pharaohs / Pharoahs[edit]

Most copies of Wooly Bully that I've seen, and some reference books and sites, spell the name of the group as "Pharoahs". I know that's not the "correct" spelling, but was it the original one used ? Perhaps some clarification is necessary. Ghmyrtle 15:22, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
