Why was an advertising template warning added?

Hello Jimfbleak - thank you for the feedback on my edits to the page 'House of European History'. I am new to wikipedia, and would like to contribute more regularly. I am based in Brussels and passionate about European history, as a way of building bridges between people from different countries in the continent. I am highlighting free resources and offers for tourists, as well as famous people in European affairs. I was editing the page for the "House of European History", however you've indicated that my edits were like advertising, and thus a template with a warning now appears over the page. Please could you explain specifically what changes I made were problematic? Also, I would like to upload an updated logo for this page, but cannot seem to do it with my account - can you help with this? The previous logo is out of date. Liam Jays I'm not sure what you mean. I've never edited that page, and this tag was added by Mean as custard

My query was solely in regard to whether you have a COI that you need to declare. Your response on your talk page doesn't really answer that

Hello - thank you for the feedback - I don't have a conflict of interest - what are you basing that on specifically? I've explained in the previous post why I am editing pages on European cultural heritage and tourist offers, in my home city of Brussels, Belgium. Removal Water Benefit Certificates

Hi Jim,

I wrote about a general topic which has no commercial implication or marketing related content. The usage of these certificates has an increased interest by the general public and is underreported, hence the need for creating this page. Isn't that what wikipedia is all about?

I would highly appreciate your input into the article and your added information to the topic to make the page better suitable.

deletion of the page for the artist Ali Hassaan (علي حسان)

Hello Jim,
you deleted my entry about the Egyptian artist Ali Hassaan using a fast-track procedure less than 30 minutes after publication. Unfortunately, you were faster at deleting it than I could add further links.
I would like to object to your reasoning (G11, WP:COI, WP:RS.).
Regarding G11: There are no links to commercial galleries that sell pictures by the artist. Only the artist and his work are presented here.
Regarding COI: I visited the exhibition "on the papier" 2022 in Cairo and have now created a wiki entry for this artist without payment and in a neutral tone. The artist Ali Hassaan is exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in Cairo and is currently exhibiting in the General Exhibition at the Palace of Arts in Cairo of the 300 best Egyptian artists.
Regarding RS: There are links to government websites and several press websites. I would have liked to have linked more external sites, unfortunately you were faster with the deletion.
Could you please tell me how I can adjust the entry so that it complies with the WIKI standard?

G11 deletion of Virginia Velasco Condori

Hi, I just saw that you speedy deleted Virginia Velasco Condori, which I was about to review while new page patrolling. She easily meets NPOL (having been both senator and minister in Bolivia), and, while some wording was definitely promotional, most of the two paragraphs was honestly fine and could have been kept. Spanish Wikipedia has a sourced article on her, and someone who has been Minister of Justice can easily be well-sourced.
Given that the article was unsourced for now, WP:BLPPROD would've been reasonable, but deleting the article without leaving time for new page patrollers to add sources is a bit harsh. Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 10:48, 27 June 2024 (UTC)

Chaotic Enby there is a referenced draft at Draft:Virginia Velasco Condori. We don't allow multiple copies of drafts, so one has to go. The one you mentioned was not ready for article space, and is poorer than the draft version. I think I'd need a very good reason to restore the deleted page and delete the draft instead Jimfbleak - talk to me? 15:00, 27 June 2024 (UTC)

Deletion of Yash Wadali

It seems you deleted a page - Yash Wadali which was posted with WP:RS. This article was written in a neutral tone, and includes many independent citations. It is of a notable individual who is a renowned Bollywood Singer, and fits wikipedia criteria of notability* 1. “The person has been performing plenty of Live Shows globally and has been continuously registered on the eventbrite website* 2. “The person has also received a prestigious award or honor at a national or international level.” 3. "He has lots of music albums on Apple Music, Spotify Music and other notable articles. All of these have independent sources cited. Please let me know what else was wrong on the page which leads to the deletion. Your positive and kind response would be highly appreciated. Your only edit is this message. The text was almost completely lacking sources and there were no independent sources supporting the claimed facts about him.
