Reason for protection
What’s the deal with this page being protected? It’s just a page about a car what’s the problem with it? 2601:152:4A7F:8080:8108:5748:3805:52FE (talk) 23:57, 30 April 2024 (UTC)

New commercial is getting lots of media coverage
This is the their new commercial that is getting lots of media coverage. It's getting compared to Dylan_Mulvaney#2023: Bud Light advertisement and boycott. Sources say the controversy is over the issue of gender, as well as the fact that there are no cars in the commercial.

the section plants says that browns lane and the xj had been moved to castle Bromwich 2 year before. This is incorrect both xj and xk were moved to castle Bromwich in 2005 when browns lane closed. For clarity I built xjs at both plants. 80.195.28.160 (talk) 14:37, 24 November 2024 (UTC)

Current ad campaign
Nothing at all on all the news about the current ad campagin? Nothing? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.32.12.53 (talk) 21:38, 24 November 2024 (UTC)
- The rebranding has caused quite the controversy, but if I know wiki-editors, they don't want that to be mentioned in the page. For some reason.

- I don't think anyone is inherently opposed to including the information like you're assuming here, as long as it's supplied by reliable sources. I will say that per WP:FORBESCON that source isn't considered reliable, and neither is the New York Post per WP:NYPOST. Only source I'm unsure about is the Top Gear website.
