Welcome, Philipum

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. I'll skip the dumbed-down documentation and give you: Wikipedia:Topical index :o) If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump, or ask me on my Talk page. I hear you've been to see Star Wars with Wiglaf? how was it? dab () 07:51, 25 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! It is great to feel accepted, and rather puzzling to see how much has been done in Wikipedia, how much is being done and how much still remains to be done. What a project! I hope I can do by best to contribute, but without becoming too addicted and spending too much of my time :) --Philipum 10:08, 25 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

What are you trying to insinuate with becoming too addicted and spending too much of my time ;). It is great to see you here, Philipum.--Wiglaf 20:00, 25 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

TÆFL

[edit]

Hello, I was congratulating Wiglaf on his new adminship when I saw your question about possible viking chess variants, and it brought to mind the game TÆFL ("Table") described at [1]. Fire Star 04:53, 27 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it is this game! In this page, the description is rather complete! Thanks! --Philipum 07:25, 27 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Philipum, there is an article on the game at tafl.--Wiglaf 20:27, 30 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

move/delete

[edit]

Hi Philipum -- as you say, moving to the appropriate location is the best way to go. This will leave the misspelled article behind as a redirect. This does no harm, and it may be deleted at some later time by a bored administrator. You can, for example, leave behind a {{R from misspelling}} template on the redirect and/or list it on WP:RFD. If you want to create additional redirects to your article (such as three-nucleon force), just say #REDIRECT[[wherever]] there. regards, dab () 09:56, 30 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for creating the Preon star article! Compact stars have held a lot of interest for me today. ᓛᖁ♀ 23:18, 7 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Physics

[edit]

Hi, - I see no one has invited you over to Wikipedia:WikiProject Physics yet. Much of the general community discussion happens on the talk pages there; please consider adding these to your watchlist. I also strongly encourage you to add your name and interests to the Wikipedia:WikiProject Physics/Participants list.-- linas 01:45, 25 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Mating Mind

[edit]

That's a very good idea. Are you interested in starting it? I have a little, but no much time at the moment. A good reference is the website that provides a summary, chapter by chapter. The link is at the bottom of the article page. Tony 12:49, 13 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Total re-write of the main Physics page is in progess

[edit]

You might like to join us at Physics/wip where a total re-write of the main Physics page is in progess. At present we're discussing the lead paragraphs for the new version, and how Physics should be defined. I've posted here because you are on the Physics Project participant list. --MichaelMaggs 08:04, 11 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Peer review for the list of baryons

[edit]

Hi,

I noticed that you had an interest in particle physics, so I wondered you could head over the List of baryons and Talk:List of baryons pages a give some feedback. I'm currently trying to bring that article to Featured List status, but I'm not a particle physicist so I probably made half a dozen mistakes. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance. WikiProject Physics participation

[edit]

You received this message because your were on the old list of WikiProject Physics participants.

On 2008-06-25, the WikiProject Physics participant list was rewritten from scratch as a way to remove all inactive participants, and to facilitate the coordination of WikiProject Physics efforts. The list now contains more information, is easier to browse, is visually more appealing, and will be maintained up to date.

If you still are an active participant of WikiProject Physics, please add yourself to the current list of WikiProject Physics participants. Headbomb {ταλκWP Physics: PotW} 16:04, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Direct.jpg

[edit]

Hi, I've been uploaded Direct.jpg to Wiki commons for using it in the article zh:双光子物理学 in zh-wiki. Thanks for your creation, and sorry for I having not asked for your permission first. If you find it not proper, you may ask for deletion. Again, thanks for your work. --LeoTschW (talk) 00:52, 24 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
