[edit]Does anyone know what Patricia has been doing since the mid-1970s? I can add more information about her caving expeditions, but I'm unsure what other information might be of note. Also, does anyone know in what year the Crowthers divorced? Naltrexone 07:54, 20 Feb 2004 (UTC)
- Interesting question about the divorce. There are numerous references on the web, but they don't all agree:
- https://onezero.medium.com/the-woman-who-inspired-one-of-the-first-hit-video-games-by-mapping-the-worlds-longest-cave-ef572ccde6d2 says "Not long after the connection trip, Patricia and Will’s marriage deteriorated. They divorced in 1976"
- https://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php?title=Colossal_Cave_Adventure says "After his divorce in 1975, he began to write Colossal Cave Adventure"
- More ambiguously, https://rickadams.org/adventure/a_history.html says "Unfortunately, Crowther's marriage ended in 1975."
