S Club "Reach" remix?

[edit]

Is the S-club "reach" remix edit vandalism? This page doean't site its sources through those little citation marks. A vandalism was recently made on a composer who died recently- it said that he composed the song. So is this a copycat crime, or not at all?--82.153.98.248 15:49, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The remix exists: http://www.discogs.com/release/1362935 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Warcraft82 (talkcontribs) 02:22, 5 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup writing?

[edit]

"for each singol pubblicated" ??? I always wanted to publicate a singol.

I see when I rate a page now Wikipedia responds with "you can edit this page". Horseshit. I'm not one of the Wikipediatus inner circle, thus I have had even innocent spelling errors reverted in seconds over five years experience. So somebody else can fix it! 71.7.48.30 (talk) 17:16, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

More info available

[edit]

There are plenty of facts on the official web page to be extracted and digested into here... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.86.37.110 (talk) 20:54, May 30, 2003 (UTC)

Why don't you do it? This is a wiki. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fibonacci (talkcontribs) 05:18, May 17, 2004

Completion required for Trivia section

[edit]

(Note: For those who had read Eiffel 65's Trivia page and had found out any mistake, error or false imformation edited in that section, you editors and fans of them who have any precise knowledge about them can help correcting it by clicking the "edit" found at the top right of that section or "edit this page" tab found on top of that whole article. However, be very careful!!! Because it must reflect the rules and regulations of its verifiability and accuracy of its text plus the acceptance of global-scale consensus from the readers! Please go to Wikipedia: Verifiability, read it and try to understand what it says!) -onWheeZierPLot Monday, 3rd July, 2006ad.

Being encyclopedic is very different from verifiability. Yes, we can verify that some people mishear the lyrics, but that doesn't mean it belongs in here. Misheard lyrics aren't really notable. That section should be removed. -Branddobbe 16:16, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

super mario

I'd argue that it should be mentioned at least somewhat, as it's a notable and controversial mishearing - not quite "kiss this guy" but it's one of the more famous ones. We probably don't need a bunch of examples, though. --Nulldevice 19:07, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
One more is "I'm blue (If i was green i would die)" and is believed to be the original lyrics.. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.1.179.112 (talk) 00:44, March 15, 2007 (UTC)

Bloom 06

[edit]

I have a question about the new name of "Bloom 06" - before the confusion happens, would Bloom 06 be a separate article than Eiffel 65? As of right now it redirects to here. Douglasr007 09:31, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'd say that Bloom 06 should be a separate article, since they are not the same people (ish), and the label is different too... Cubedman990 05:25, 27 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I believe Bloom 06 should have it's own Wikipedia Article.
They're not exactly Eiffel 65 anymore, so it shouldn't redirect here.
So can someone somehow make it a seperate page for Bloom 06?
I'm not sure how to do that....
—Preceding unsigned comment added by D3athstardisco (talkcontribs) 03:10, June 16, 2007

It appears the Bloom 06 article was created on July 4, 2006. __meco 15:38, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If somebody even noticed that every time that we go to Eiffel 65 file on wikipedia there always Bloom 06 photo's there. I mean you got two same Bloom 06 photo on both same page, Why? Let just say that people want to go in to see the Eiffel 65 page and there is always Bloom 06 photo's there, and people will think to there self "What give's? Am I in the right page? Were the Eiffel 65 photo" Somebody need to change that photo! lizardkyrieann 01:25, 2 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The Bliss Corporation?

[edit]

There seems to be some sort of group referenced in this article called THE BLISS CORPORATION..but there is no article on them and it is not explained in anyway. this makes the article very confusing. What is the bliss corporation? (Thefirstterm (talk) 07:04, 5 May 2008 (UTC))[reply]

Bliss Corporation seems to be an italo eurodance label connected to Eiffel 65 singer's previous act, the Bliss Team. I've redirected Bliss Corporation link to Bliss Team because that is currently the only information available. JJohannes (talk) 23:03, 11 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Blisscorporation is exactly this: www.blisscorporation.com . It's the label of Eiffel 65, Gabry Ponte, DJs from Mars and various others. No need for a redirect to "Bliss Team".

I've been under impression that Eiffel 65 used an ordinary vocoder to produce their "robotic" voice effect. Auto-Tune was of course released a year earlier and it does contain a phase vocoder but it isn't a vocoder itself, it's a pitch correction software plug-in and an audio processor. However, if they really had the then unknown pitch correction software, they would have practically invented the whole industry of making robotic noises with Auto-Tune. Does anyone know about their choice of equipment? JJohannes (talk) 22:57, 11 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Pitch correction has been used extensively thoughout the music industry since the 50s in the form of what's called an Eltro, amongst other equipment. They did not pioneer the pitch correcting of vocals by any means. Go watch "Hangin' Tough" by the New Kids on the Block on YouTube. You can clearly hear the vocals being pitch corrected, although the noticeability of it was not intended, I'm sure. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.63.50.31 (talk) 14:37, 5 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Proper grammar

[edit]

How about some proper grammar on Wikipedia for once? "Eiffel 65" IS the NAME of a GROUP, therefor it is a Singular Noun. So the article needs changed to "Eiffel 65 _is_ an Italian three-piece Italo dance/Eurodance group." Group is also a Singular Noun.

And no trying to use the "British English" excuse. It's still wrong to do it that way.
