The red links prompt people to write articles. If they're not there and somebody writes the articles from scratch or from a red link on another page, who will be regularly checking for these articles and adding the links on this page?

IMO, if you don't like red links, click them and write something! :-)

I remember a discussion poss on the Aust Unis page that only the accrediting bodies were to have their own article, so unless there was something of note about a particular institution then it was not to be linked. Just reporting what I read. Of course that probably referred just to that article but seems one appropriate approach. Sub links here thus OK Paul foord 14:17, 17 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I wrote that :-) I just made that distinction on the "other higher ed" section of that page to keep the list maintainable. My thinking was that subsiduary institutions could be linked to from the accreditators, as was/is done here. I created this page mainly for that purpose! matturn 05:21, 28 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Encyclopedic information

[edit]

Using 'we' is inappropriate, complete lists of staff questionable unless they are notable, as is uncited quotation from copyright sources. Paul foord 13:33, 24 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Approved Teaching Institutions???

[edit]

What is that section actually refering to?? Is it all approved teaching instituions of theology in Australia or only ones under the Sutralian Collefe of Theology? If it is all of them I will find somemore to add. E.g Moore Theological College is a famouos Australian theological college and that is not on the list.--Ari89 12:23, 25 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Look at the links to approved colleges on their homepage, Moore does not appear nor a number of others. Those omitted colleges may be otherwise acredited even if offering ACT courses, Paul foord 06:15, 26 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Approved teaching institutions in the article refer to the institutions approved to deliver awards of the Australian College of Theology. Moore Theological College is no longer a member of the Australian College of Theology network of affiliated colleges (approved teaching institutions) as it has its own direct accreditation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.255.45.226 (talk) 01:44, 27 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
