"In 2004 during the third period of a playoff game versus the Bruins, Mike Ribeiro tfell Mike Knuble and fell to the ice. He spent the next minute sprawling across the ice simulating pain before being taken off the ice by stretcher. Ribeiro returned to the bench shortly after with a smile, laughing at the Bruins' bench. No dive was called, but Hall-of-Fame writer Russ Conway called it "a two-bit stunt" and "dirty little skit."

This recollection of the event is incorrect. He was not carried out on a stretcher and "laughing at the Bruins bench" is highly debateble. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.107.15.22 (talk) 19:12, 20 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with the above. This statement hardly seems notable or factually verifiable. It may in fact be slanderous. I'm inclined to remove this from the article... It's seems more relevant to include useful facts in the article, like the fact that Ribeiro leads the team in goals, and leads the league in assists.
