Births and deaths

[edit]

As with other dates, I have been removing entries for people who have few or no articles in other language wikipedias and thus not internationally well known. This makes the section more manageable. Where possible, those that have been removed have been transferred to the relevant Year in Topic articles. See Days of Year Project talk pages for discussion as to how best to separate births and deaths sections from these articles.Deb (talk) 07:45, 14 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Holidays

[edit]

Sorry, I didn't know where else to write this, but today should be E=mc2 day or something. If you could put this where it should be, thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.230.160.188 (talk) 14:57, 26 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Need some more details. Where did you read this? Deb (talk) 16:18, 26 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Evacuation day (New York)

[edit]

This is not an observance but a historical event. Perhaps it used to be an observance but it doesn't fit under Holidays and Observances. I'll remove it. --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 13:41, 25 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Day name format

[edit]

Is there a reason that Wikipedia named the pages with the month then the day and not the day then the month? Eshaan011 (talk) 15:27, 25 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

See Date format by country.--Launchballer 15:32, 25 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I know, but not all countries are MM/DD/YYYY. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eshaan011 (talkcontribs) 16:34, 2 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
