Okita Soji

[edit]

In regard of your edits on the Okita Soji article

1. 00:07, 18 January 2005 Friday13 m (Correcting the category (1868 deaths>1869 deaths))

2. 00:03, 18 January 2005 Friday13 m (Correcting year of death in biography.)

While the exact date of Okita's birth is uncertain, the date of his death is NOT. The claim that he died in 1869 is RIDICULOUS! (One only has to check up a few historical references to know that.) Please don't take someone's word for it just like that.... Thank you very much. Nlf7 09:19, 28 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dominican Republic

[edit]

Hello. Just wanted to ask if there is some new administrative division of Dominican Republic or edits like this: [1] from this user [2] is just sneaky vandalism. Thank you. - Darwinek 10:16, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I haven't heard of any new provinces being created (there was a plan to split Santo Domingo, but that was scrapped, apparently). While that user created many articles, a lot (if not most, didn't see them all) of his edits certainly looks like vandalism. Friday13 00:14, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
