Duplicate information about humour and sarcasm in the introduction section

[edit]

Introduction section contains in first paragraph:

His parents announced their divorce to him over Thanksgiving dinner when Chandler was nine years old, an event which causes him to refuse to celebrate the holiday in his adulthood and develop his notorious sense of humour as a defense mechanism.

and in second it contains:

Chandler has a very good sense of humor, and is notoriously sarcastic. He attributes his sarcasm as a defense mechanism he developed due to his parents' divorcing when he was a child.

Could somebody make a pretty fusion of these two sentences? Thank you! --Adam Hauner (talk) 22:54, 10 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Chandler's Career

[edit]

Though throughout the show we never hear exactly what his current job titles are, we know from a couple episodes about what he does. A scene in S8E21[1] is one source. S9E11[2] is another source. Not sure if these suffice for the "citation needed" for the career section. I'm also a complete Wiki novice, so sorry if I am totally not doing things correctly. Chandler's mother

[edit]

The creator of the series confirmed that Chandler's mother is a transgender woman, and the page should be changed to reflect that.

Not done for now: Already discussed extensively at Matthew Perry. This article is about the character, not the actor. General Ization Talk 02:11, 29 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
