I just did a massive rewrite and expansion of this character, my favourite in the series. The last paragraph is almost identical to the original stub, but everything else has been rewritten.

There were three sources. The original novel by Frank Herbert is the primary source and the two secondary sources were the Dune Encyclopedia and the Preludes to Dune, both of which claim to using Frank Herbert's original notes for sources.

While this is probably no longer a stub, I still think there is more to be added and will be returning to the article.

Margot Fenring

[edit]

I would like more information about Margot Raslino-Zea. I know she was a Bene Gesserit that married Hasimir Fenring. I also know that she had a child with Feyed-Rautha Harkonnen. This child is not mentioned after it's conception in DUNE. Did she go to Salusa Secundus with Fenring and Shaddam IV? Thanks. ssg

The article Margot Fenring contains all info about her given in the original series (she is actually only mentioned in Dune), although the prequel sections are incomplete. The fates of Margot and her child after the events of Dune are never noted by Herbert, though the non-canon Dune Encyclopedia contains an extensive biography and states that she did go to Salusa.
