Talk:Ilonggo
This topic is about naming Romblon as a Tagalog and an Ilonggo speaking province: Comment: Why dont you make your data more realistic and comprehensive. Romblon has 3 Separate Languages, please check the Sanrokan Magasine on Languages of Romblon. Namely : Romblomanon or Tiyad Ini, Bantoanon lately called Asi from the word Asing gador and Inunhan / Taga-Onhan or locally known as Manakaran. Sibuyanon though distinct from Romblomanon is classified as a dialect under Romblomanon Language. There are none Tagalog nor Ilongo native speakers in the entire province of Romblon though both languages are both used officially as languages in Schools and the Roman Catholic Church. I wonder where you gathered your information. Perhaps from previous write-ups about the province which is inaccurate. This comment is for everybody's information only.
