Commons picture of the day The Saint James's Tower in Paris (France). The only surviving part of a 16th-century church destroyed during the French Revolution, it is nowadays a national historic landmark and one of the starting points of the Way of St James.
I joined Wikipedia in 2001 (before MediaWiki!) and have had fluctuating levels of activity here depending on my IRL commitments. I've become more active again in 2021 as I've come to appreciate how important Wikipedia has become as the world's online encyclopedia. I have mostly been working on WikiGnome activities to keep Wikipedia reliable, credible, and encyclopedic, as well as continuing to improve articles and sometimes create new ones.
Past and current academic, professional, and personal interests include, but are not limited to: libraries and archives, academia, digital humanities, data science, web development, free and open source software, open knowledge, Australian history, church history, queer theology and history, health communication and public health, politics, journalism and media.
Since mid-2021 I have been employed by the Australian Queer Archives, previously called the Australian Lesbian and Gay Archives. I may update the Archives' name and URL in the References, Further reading, and External links sections of LGBTIQ-related articles as I find them, but will not engage in substantive content editing related to the Archives or any partner organisations.
I am a former member and employee of the Australian Greens Victoria, which is a constituent party of the Australian Greens. I am interested in keeping politics, government, and election content on Wikipedia reliable, respectful, and up-to-date, regardless of policies or beliefs. I watch various political articles for my usual gnomish tasks of citation cleanup, copy-editing, and undoing vandalism. I will seek consensus on substantial reorganisation or rewriting, and will not contribute substantial content to any articles on Greens parties, members, representatives, or candidates for election.
On 1 December 2021, In the news was updated with an item that involved the article David Gulpilil, which you updated. If you know of another recently created or updated article suitable for inclusion in ITN, please suggest it on the candidates page. PFHLai (talk) 11:46, 1 December 2021 (UTC)
