Wondering how to edit this U.S. County Entry?
The WikiProject U.S. Counties standards might help.

County Name

It would be interesting to know when the county was formed and who or what it was named for. As a non-American who associates the name Custer readily with the general who was killed in battle warring against Sitting Bull's Native Americans, it looks ironic that the county should contain an under-construction memorial to Crazy Horse, contemporary to Sitting Bull. If the name is totally unrelated to the general it would be clarifying to know.Cloptonson (talk) 08:27, 8 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
