(I did not write the above comment). To be honest, many of the wiki pages written about individuals seem to be "vanity pages".

In this specific case, however, I question the following statement written in the article:

He is running to be elected Mayor of Cote Saint Luc in November 2005 and is favored to win the election.

I am a resident of Montreal, and as far as I know, there are at least 4 mayoral candidates for Cote Saint Luc, and there have yet to be any polls conducted. How can it be stated that he's the favorite to win?

In addition, this statement "He was a nationally ranked athlete as a student and then channeled his competitive energy towards politics." has no pertinence and is unsourced. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Yellowtuesday (talkcontribs) 01:41, 27 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There was also a statement about this politician being controversial which is now deleted and not even visible in History. How is this possible?

I wrote the "favored to win" question. It turns out, he actually did win. Congratulations.
