I have problems with these lines, but before I delete them I want to invite some discussion:

However the labour theory of value cannot explain the differing values of different kinds of labour, nor can it explain why goods like used postage stamps can, in some cases, be more valuable than the same volume of gold which requires far more work to produce.

Proponents of the labor theory of value distinguish between "value" and "price," but these lines make no distinction; they are either false claims, or need to be developed to make their points clearly. Slrubenstein
