Thanks for the e-mail. I've done the move, I think this is the best title for the article - it's usually best to use the simplest title possible. You might find Wikipedia:Naming conventions useful, although the conventions for place-names are still being worked out.

There is a link at the bottom of each page to allow you to move it. If you want to move a page to a title that already exists you need to ask an admin though.

There is also a 'discuss this page' link at the bottom of each page and user page. Usually the easiest way of contacting other users is to leave a note on their talk page (although to contact me, e-mail is usually just as good - today I can't get it to send!)

Welcome to Wikipedia, I hope you enjoy it and stick around :) Let me know if I can help anywhere else, or you can always add a question to the Village pump. Regards, -- sannse 07:44 Apr 19, 2003 (UTC)

It shouldnt be a problem. What language is the map in? Danny רק תדאג לכך שהמפה היא ברשות הציבור Danny

Unfortunately, there's a copyright mark on it, so I don't think we can use it. You may want to go to the Iriya and ask if they would give permission to use one of their maps. Danny

A link to the website would be okay. Danny

I've left a reply for you on my talk page -- sannse 15:23 Apr 24, 2003 (UTC)

התחלתי להסתכל שם. לא רע בכלל! Danny

Hi Dod1,

User:Ram-Man may be able to upload your articles for you, if you ask very nicely. What format are they in?

Hi! What I've been doing is trying to link the English with the Hebrew. Got to catch up to beat Romanian... Danny

Hi - A few weeks ago you changed category:Movie Awards into a redirect to category:Movie awards. Just FYI - category redirects don't currently work (the articles categorized in the redirected category don't appear in the category being redirected to). A better solution is to list the one category in WP:CFD, wait a bit, and then move all the articles into the other one (which is admittedly a pain). In this particular case, category:Movie Awards is simply misnamed, by category naming rules (see wikipedia:categorization) it should be category:Movie awards so listing on WP:CFD would not be at all controversial. I've listed category:Movie Awards on WP:CFD.

Mishnaic Hebrew language as featured article

[edit]

I can't find any markings on the Hebrew Wikipedia that he:לשון חז"ל is featured, although you made the edit "+ He (Hebrew) Featured Article" to Mishnaic Hebrew language, its English equivalent. Please explain! jnothman talk 00:11, 12 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

At the bottom-left side of the article you can see the wrting:

מאמר מומלץ and a thumb-up orange sign. ^^ Dod1 01:06, 12 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. Hadn't seen that. It's somewhat different to our English Wikipedia marking! jnothman talk 01:08, 12 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. List of Refernce Tables listed at Redirects for discussion

[edit]

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect List of Refernce Tables. Since you had some involvement with the List of Refernce Tables redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. Steel1943 (talk) 19:35, 5 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
