A B C

[edit]

Would n't it be better to have a page called Welsh mountain pony and list all of sections A B C and D? Billlion 22:35, 23 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Yes --Philip Baird Shearer 09:38, 26 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think so. The sections are very different, both from a historical/breeding perspective, and from a conformational perspective. The section A has had a great influence on other breeds as well, while the other sections less so. Also note, the "Welsh Mountain Pony" is specifically Section A. The Welsh Pony refers to all the sections. Eventer 05:44, 9 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Arab influence

[edit]

It is speculative to say the least that there is an Arab influence introduced by the Romans. Unless there is some genetic evidence that there may be some truth to this speculation it should be noted as such. It could just as easily be a case of convergent evolution or convergent breeding --Philip Baird Shearer 09:38, 26 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
