Lake Burley Griffin Panorama

[edit]

Hey when you get that image uploaded, drop me a line on my talk page telling me the name of the file. Martyman 07:41, 16 Oct 2004 (UTC)

What software did you use? The stitch lines are very noticable, I may give it a go at work (PS-CS) on Monday. Anyway it is up as is at the Lake Burley Griffin paeg for now. Now I have to expand teh page to properly fit all the images. Martyman 08:45, 16 Oct 2004 (UTC)
I used Photoshop CS. Nyctopterus
I thought Photoshop Cs was better than that.. Oh well I will have a play anyway. Martyman 11:51, 16 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Canberra Locality Map

[edit]

Howdy, what do you think of the latest version of my Canberra locality map? As seen on Parliament House, Canberra.

Parliment House Canberra

Any suggestions, as I am still not very happy with it? I think that the full ACT view is fine for identifying the location of places in the ACT but that my cropped in veiw of Canberra only is more appropriate for showing suburb locations ie. Looks good to me, I don't se what's wrong with it. And agreed about thr cropped map. --Nycto 06:25, Oct 20, 2004 (UTC)

Deck plans

[edit]

Hey, interested in getting some help tracing out the deck plans? I've done some myself too and I'm actually cuite interested in doing that, as I am a modelship builder and all plans interest me quite alot. --Ningyou 09:50, 8 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, here is picture I've made of Titanic, it's still WIP (it was more like a test, that is why it isn't such a goodlooking one) Titanic_wip.png. --Ningyou 12:04, 8 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I know its kinda hard to ask you of this; but do you think you can send me the deck plans for the Normandie? (in electronic format, of course) I have been looking for them for who knows how long. If you could send them to me, that would be great. Mg rotc2487 14:44, 7 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am also interested in deck plans. I've had a goal of getting them online but in a different approach. I want to scan them in and make interactive tours where you can move around the plan and see highlights where I can find photos or drawings (both my own and links to others on the net).

I liked your drawings of the Normandie quite a bit. Echriscopal (talk) 23:22, 28 October 2009 (UTC)Echriscopal[reply]

File permission problem with File:SS-Normandie side01 NYC.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:SS-Normandie side01 NYC.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy.
