Semi-protected edit request on 25 October 2017 - Sakura's new official surname should also be added at the beginning of her Wikipedia page, just like Hinata's new surname already is on her own Wikipedia page.

[edit]

The words "Sakura Haruno (春野 サクラ Haruno Sakura)" from the first line of Sakura's Wikipedia page should be changed to "Sakura Haruno (春野 サクラ Haruno Sakura) (later Sakura Uchiha (うちはサクラ Uchiha Sakura))" since this is Sakura's official surname now. Also, this is how the first line of Hinata's Wikipedia page begins: "Hinata Hyuga (日向 ヒナタ Hyūga Hinata) (later Hinata Uzumaki (うずまき ヒナタ Uzumaki Hinata)". Therefore, if Hinata is also addressed to as Uzumaki Hinata in the beginning of her Wikipedia article, Sakura should definitely also be addressed to as Uchiha Sakura too. Not done for now: I know this is because I'm not very proficient in Japanese, but could you at least try to find a source confirming that those are indeed her most recent Japanese names? ToThAc (talk) 15:27, 26 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I spyed with my eyes on the Road to Boruto video game where Sakura is an adult and she is introduced as "Sakura Uchiha". I also checked the Naruto wikia and saw that the Boruto movie guidebook also used that name.Tintor2 (talk) 16:39, 26 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Furthermore, Sakura was officially addressed to as "Sakura Uchiha" in the official page with character mentions from "Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring". Sakura was also officially addressed to as "Sakura Uchiha" in her official description from "Boruto: Naruto the Movie". Thus, in basically every single official part of the story that happens after Sasuke and Sakura got married, Sakura is addressed to only as "Sakura Uchiha" since this is her new canon surname. Also, Sakura is addressed as "Sakura Uchiha" in more official descriptions than Hinata is addressed as "Hinata Uzumaki" (for example, in the official page with character mentions from "Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring", as I already said above); so, as I said above, considering that Hinata's official Wikipedia page already mentions at the beginning that Hinata's canon surname now is Uzumaki, the fact that Sakura's canon surname is now Uchiha should definitely also be added at the beginning of Sakura’s Wikipedia page. LaLaLand123 (talk) 20:06, 26 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Shouldn't we mention that in the a brief mention about the characters' role in Boruto mentions? I mean look at Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha whose roles in Boruto are mentioned in the lead too.Tintor2 (talk) 23:17, 26 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Well, it could be, but I definitely believe it will be fairer if Sakura's new official surname (Uchiha) is mentioned at the beginning of her Wikipedia page, right after her original surname. I am saying this because, when it comes to this matter, Sakura's Wikipedia page should be organised in the exact same way that Hinata's Wikipedia page is organised since we're basically talking about the same thing in both situations. Both of the Wikipedia pages should mention their new official surnames in exactly the same place. LaLaLand123 (talk) 02:27, 27 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I forgot to mention that even in the latest version of the second Boruto ending (which first appeared at the end of the 23th Boruto episode), in the cast section, Sakura is clearly introduced as "Uchiha Sakura" (うちはサクラ) right below Uchiha Sarada (うちはサラダ) and Uchiha Sasuke (うちはサスケ). In this scene, only the names of Sarada, Sasuke and Sakura are listed since this is meant to show that they are a family, the Uchiha family.
It is exactly like this:
うちはサラダ
うちはサスケ
うちはサクラ
(And, at the right, in this ending scene there also are the names of their Japanese voice actors.)
This scene can be seen right at the beginning part of that ending, in the top left corner of the screen.
And the Boruto anime is, of course, official and the fact that the arc which this ending was made for had been created by Kishimoto himself ("Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring") makes the ending utterly important. LaLaLand123 (talk) 15:03, 27 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Important edit: Now, I've seen that Hinata's Wikipedia page was edited in the way Tintor2 suggested - this way, now the fact that Hinata's official surname is Uzumaki is mentioned at the end of the first paragraph on her page, in the line about her role in the anime sequel "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations". So, the same should now also be done to Sakura since, as I said above, Sakura's and Hinata's pages should be organised in exactly the same way when it comes to this matter. So, the fact that Sakura's surname is now Uchiha should now also be mentioned at the end of the first paragraph on her page. And one more thing: I also see that there is actually nothing said about Sakura's role in the anime sequel "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" in the first paragraph of Sakura’s Wikipedia page. So, this short information should also be added along with the fact that she is now called "Uchiha Sakura (うちはサクラ)" in this anime sequel. Therefore, something like this should briefly be added right at the end of the first paragraph on Sakura's page: "In the anime sequel Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, Sakura, now called Sakura Uchiha (うちはサクラ, Uchiha Sakura) is a doctor of the Konoha hospital." LaLaLand123 (talk) 19:27, 27 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I tried doing that. Thanks for pointing it out.Tintor2 (talk) 19:34, 27 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you too for including the information in the page! LaLaLand123 (talk) 23:45, 27 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Added Byakugō Seal

[edit]

Seeing as the Byakugō Seal is her most powerful Jutsu, and is key to her medical skills, i added it in. This article seems weirdly limited.Y'all haters corny with that Illuminati mess. (talk) 19:50, 20 August 2020 (UTC)Bluefleet[reply]
