Did the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group ever attack western countries?

Probably not. But they did attack an ally of the 'western countries', although at a time when it was not an ally. Small details like timing can be forgotten in politics. [1] Goatchurch 23:42, 24 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe this should be added into the article about them offically joining al-qaeda source:http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/7076604.stm C falco 13:52 November 04 —Preceding unsigned comment added by C falco (talkcontribs) 13:53, 4 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

responsible use of tags...

[edit]

This article has been tagged since March 2008, with tags that direct readers to the talk page for a discussion of the tagger's concern. But the tagger didn't expand on their concerns here. The next time I return to this article, if no one has justified the placement of these tags, I am removing them. Geo Swan (talk) 23:07, 10 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, four weeks later, I am removing the tags. Geo Swan (talk) 02:12, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
