" but it is a free channel no longer ."

Since I can still see it I assume this means it's part of the basic Sky subscription package as opposed to a standalone. This needs to be clarified in the txt. Lee M 01:27, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)

The entire article is full of weasel-word superlatives, the piece about HD in particular must be pulled straight from a press release. There's very little about the business story of the channel, technical facts about the logistics about running such a widely distributed network, limitations in certain countries on partial nudity, for example, why it is streamed at such poor bitrate compared to fellow channels...I could go on. I found nothing here that I was looking for. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.218.24.149 (talk) 19:38, 12 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Tendances

[edit]

Since this is an article about something French I can't tell, but I wonder if the word "Tendances" was actually supposed to be "Tendencies" ? Shenme 02:11, 14 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

not sure, too, but we can change it to trends alone - Kaeau
Hmmm... Tendances is the name of a 'show' on FTV - if you are going to translate it then we should really go through wikipedia and translate all proper names (En Recherche du Temps Perdu?). As we're keeping names like Midnight Hot I think this should be changed back - in fact I'm doing it, but I won't feel too hurt if you revert it ;-) Duncan 20:02, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

This and other Wikipedias in other languages have been relentlessly spammed by anonymous IPs based in Israel (where the domain is registered) for many months. It's gotten sufficiently bad as to warrant addition to the spam blacklist and I have removed a number of these links in anticipation of blacklisting:

Most, but not all, had been added by the site-owner.

If an established, high-volume editor sees value to the specific link I deleted from this article, please let me know and it can be evaluated for addition to the spam "whitelist"
