Welcome to WP

[edit]

Hi and welcome to Wikipedia,

I hope you enjoy your experience here and will make fruitfuil contributions. I have made minor edits to your edit in Nagorno-Karabakh. Hope you don't mind. There were some minor grammar errors which I wanted to fix.

I hope your stay in Wikipedia will be a durable one. Meanwhile I would advice you to read through the WP guidelines, esp. Wikipedia:Neutral_point_of_view, Wikipedia:Civility, Wikipedia:Conflict_resolution. You may need them in the future in case you want to edit highly controversial and politicized pages. --Tabib 05:32, Apr 18, 2005 (UTC)

East & West Azarbaijan

[edit]

I was wondering why you have changed the names of the Iranian provinces of East and West "Azarbaijan" to "Azerbaijan"? As far as I know, the official forms in the English language are East & West Azarbaijan, which are distinct from the eastern and western parts of the Republic of Azerbaijan. I have never seen anyone spell the Iranian provinces with an "e" before. I verified this with an Internet search, and the vast majority of people write East & West Azarbaijan in English. For example, see: http://www.key2persia.com/iranmap.htm .

I'm not saying that you're wrong, I'm simply pointing out that I've never seen your spelling before today. —Stephen 14:14, 18 Apr 2005 (UTC)
