Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mormonism and Christianity

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

yeah this needs to go away

[edit]

This whole article should be deleted. The writer is free to submit it to an anti-Mormon site, where it more clearly belongs. Even in the very first paragraph, a POV (and inaccurate one at that) is stated. From where I stand, Mormonism merges very easily with Biblical Christianity. It doesn't with contemporary, but the one or two paragraphs that are relevant here can be added into less-biased entries and a link to one of the hundreds of similar essays that litter anti-Mormon webpages can be put as an external resource. Keep. This is not anti-Mormon, it discusses the relationship between Mormonism and traditional Christianity. RickK 05:37, Aug 15, 2004 (UTC)

Obvious keeper. Ditto RickK. First, procedural error by Cookiecaper who failed to discuss it much on the talk pages with longstanding Mormon and non-Mormon contributors, but instead made a drive-by-judgement and proceeded immediately to VfD. Second, procedural error by Cookiecaper who didn't even list this entry on the main VfD page, but made an entirely separate page for VfD discussion! Finally, while the article is still going thru some growing pains in pinning down its purpose and content, it is at least intended to be an analog to other articles such as Comparing and contrasting Judaism and Christianity, Islam and Judaism, etc. Some Admin, please delete this page.
