Does Wild mock-orange apply to all Philadelphus

[edit]

I searched on google

"wild mock-orange" -lewisii

and found very few entries. None of them said that wild mock-orange is a name used for all Philadelphus. I agree that it is a plausible common name, but I can't find a use of it, which suggests that it isn't very common. Nereocystis 20:24, 20 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

All Philadelphus are called mock-orange, not necessarily wild mock-orange. "Wild" is more of a descriptor than part of this plant's name. botanybob (talk) 21:36, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
