Talk:Human rights violation

Not sure if this should be singular or plural. Wikipedia:Naming conventions (pluralization) says that a page name should be singular unless it is always referred to in the plural. My feeling is that sometimes in an encyclopedia people may discuss, e.g. Leftists (rightists) claims that action A is a human rights violation, while rightists (leftists) claim that action A is a necessary prerequisite for/consequence of human rights protection.

So singular is probably right, IMHO.

[edit]

This page should be merged with Human rights abuse. As it is now I will link to that page until a consensus has been reached. freestylefrappe 22:53, Apr 23, 2005 (UTC)
