[edit]Album covers, especially ones from 1982, are surely restricted by copyrig
ht. I very much doubt Wikipedia has permission to place them under the GNU FDL. -- Bignose
- My understanding is that the GNU FDL only applies to the text of articles - cover art, sound samples and so on can be uploaded under fair use. As a last resort, if somebody asks us to take this stuff down, we can take it down, so there's no real problem with it. This sort of thing has been discussed a fair bit recently (mainly on the mailing list), and the consensus seems to be that if it's OK under fair use, then there's nothing to worry about. --Camembert 01:14 Jan 4, 2003 (UTC)
I agree with Camembert. Imagine if you open an online music store, do you have to ask for permission to use the cover picture? I doubt it. Taku 01:17 Jan 4, 2003 (UTC)

Invisible writers
[edit]For some reason, although the songs' composers show in the source text, they do not appear on the webpage.
