We should not put interwiki links if they don't exist. WhisperToMe 17:15, 12 Dec 2004 (UTC)

We know where the page should be, and it is the canonical language for this article. Ideally, the 日本語 link should be red, indicating that there is work to be done. I think the link should remain. From Wikipedia:Interwiki (emphasis mine):
If the target page does not exist, the link will take you to a blank page that has no content. This shows that an article about the subject is needed, but has not been written yet. If you find blank interlanguage links on the English Wikipedia, they may be deleted as having no content.
So, they may be deleted but are not required to be. Since this link is to the canonical language on this subject, I suggest that it stays. --ChrisRuvolo 20:26, 12 Dec 2004 (UTC)
I'd wait until its written on JA. then the interwiki shall come back. WhisperToMe 03:34, 15 Dec 2004 (UTC)
What is the harm in keeping it? --ChrisRuvolo 17:14, 15 Dec 2004 (UTC)
It'll make people THINK there is an article on JA.wikipedia about it when there isn't. WhisperToMe 04:15, 16 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Muto can be an Italian last name too...
