This article has been reviewed as part of Wikipedia:WikiProject Good articles/Project quality task force. I believe the article currently meets the criteria and should remain listed as a Good article. The article history has been updated to reflect this review.

What remains to be improved is still the use of sources, as mentioned in the FA nomination. I'm not quite sure what the difference is between "References" and "Citations". The extensive use of the commercial site CDuniverse.com is dubious. So is references to sites with lyrics, something that could be legally questionable. Controversy

[edit]

Maybe there should be a controversy section. In that you could make mention of the fact that several years before The Pharcyde, rapper King Tee did a "yo mama" song called - Baggin' On Moms. Just like The Pharcyde's song, King Tee's song is entirely friends all making yo mamma jokes. It's rumoured that The Pharcyde copied the idea for their song from King Tee after hearing his song.

As Yo mama is one of The Pharcyde most famous and critically aclaimed songs, then I think the controversy that it's alike King Tee's song needs mentioning in this wikipage. HardeeHar (talk) 10:41, 9 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
